Hilmi Tarraz

  Hilmi Tarraz born on June 01, a cartoonist and painter/visual artist. After he received his baccalaureate he continued his studies at the Faculty of Finance but he wasn’t continuous because the art was always his passion. His passion for Art was the reason he joined the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan in Morocco. It was there he received two diplomas, earning his General Art Diploma in 2012. The diploma was general i.e. plastic art in general (painting , drawing, engraving, art history …) and with the second diploma Hilmi became a specialist in comic strips in 2015. He created his first comic book called “Ali and The Miraculous Chest”. The comic strip was his project of the end of studies. He published his album in some libraries and institutes and also to the schools. This album became a success! It has thought to make its continuation. After it became autonomous and continued the research a few internships are interested in him. For example an internship of Computer Graphics, Scenario and Storyboard at the Festival Ficam, Internship at the International Festival of Comic Strip, Animation Camp Festival of La Cigogne Volubile. All of these courses were in Morocco. He has participated in exhibitions, and has a lot of interest in the field of art. Hilmi also has knowledge in general. Currently preparing for his first show not collective, he is also musically talented publishing his first single last year. He has plans to release his second album later this year. Hilmi can speak three languages as he is really talented and he has many projects and dreams that he wants to achieve in Morocco and elsewhere ..
